D'où l'on trouve à s'orner
"D'où l'on trouve aussitôt à s'orner" is a contemporary dance piece exploring the absurd through six performers. It focuses on questions such as the coherence of our actions, dissonance and the nature of human relationships.
First performed in june 2022, after 2 weeks of residency, in the framework of the "Cartes Blanches" at "Ballet Junior de Genève" .
Synopsis
Rather than offering answers, the piece invites us to observe our daily lives from a distance, questioning notions of normality and logic. It approaches the absurd as a way of questioning the meaning of our existence and actions, highlighting the uniqueness of seemingly banal moments.
Composition
The play unfolds in three chapters: the Beginning, the OCD and the Whole. Each one explores a different aspect of the absurd and of human relationships.
Inspirations
Inspired by philosophers such as Camus and Sartre, the piece also questions notions of subjective logic and normality.
Cohexistance
The piece is a reflection on harmony and dissonance between individuals, exploring the possibility that seemingly disparate elements can coexist.
